Thanks! It was my first 1/16 Tamiya, and I reckon it was a good choice. Lots of room inside the hull to get the gear in, and very intimidating to look at. The lads here have been very helpful though. And I'd certainly like to see your Jagd when it is up and running.

It is worth pointing out something here. This Jagd is fully stock - and will remain so. The club gets a hefty 'consideration' from Tamiya for keeping it's vehicles as the factory intended; mostly as the club is wheeled out from time to time to front events and demos.

Its not that I am attempting to be snooty, or belittle the efforts of those who go down to the very last rivet for accuracy. Its just that I live under corporate dominion.

Well, not quite. However, it might take me a while to get hold of the stowage and the crew. The vehicle itself is done and so I've called a halt before my fiddling ruins what good points it still has.

i just love the look you have given the jagdpanther. what kind of air brush did you use?tip size and needle .one hint i can give you is to lower your air preasure,generally i stay around 15 to 20 psi. i will reduce it further if i am using a thin wash. but it looks brilliant.

Excellent work on the Jagdpanther, I will attempt to find a photo I have of the Night fighter version,along with the Infra-red sight at the command hatch was mounted a MG with an infra-red sight as well.

The idea being tracer fire followed by main round, but the evidence of this use is limited,when building my Urban Night fighter version I found many variants including the one mentioned.

Your detailing of the Hull mounted equipment just brilliant, the Jagdpanther looks great.

This was my first time with a real, double-action airbrush (.3 nozzle at 15psi for paint and 10psi for washes) and I was not sure of how things were going to turn out (the missus was of the opinion that giving me a fine tool like that, was like giving chimp a chainsaw).

I don't know why I have stuck to brushes and spray cans for so long. The bottle is open and the Djinn is loose.
