hi i was thinking of doing a schwimmer but the jeep came up cheap and i couldnt say no i was going to look at the suspension of the tamiya sand scorcher/rough rider as it looks vw based and might be made to fit but it would only be two wheel drive and i think the scwimm was four not really sure
the springs i have bought are of a tamiya hilux as are the axles i want they are the narrow ones @ 155mm wide which seems just right i have a few ideas on how to fit my wheels but will have to see when i finally buy the axles

hi all i had a parcel on monday the axles have arrived :D here are a few pics.
The leaf springs dont line up with the chassis rails so i mounted them to the body floor i had to modify a set of tamiya style wheels to fit the originals and cut the center caps off so i could get my spanner in to bolt them on.
The pics only show a mock up they werent perminantly fixed i had to modify all four wheels so i could line every thing up to get the proper stance they are now all bolted on and turning smoothly i will etch prime and paint then take more pics in the meantime enjoy hope you like
