Hi,

Cuckoo is a fine subject for a model. But there is also a reference to the Coldstream Guards using a captured Tiger 1. Does anybody have any info on this? I would love to know more!

How is cuckoo coming on,and your pixie suits, are you going for the partial whitewash,I take it you've seen the pics both white and without,I'm toying with getting a new tank HL as I can't afford Tamiya I've got their M26 and saxondog is giving me advice on sorting traverse my mind is wavering between Panther,Tiger I,StuG/Pz III, I think Panther will win,so I follow your progress with interest, and I maybe picking your brain for some mods,I got some lovely Panthers in 1/35 built and 4 more dragon kits unbuilt, early A late A,G steel wheels,G late/final,so many tasty camo jobs, and 2 different zimmerit patterns for the Ausf A's

Not started on the Panther just yet Wayne, it'll be without the whitewash too. I'm not going to town on it like mine as my Dad just "plays" with it but he'll be happy. The figure on the other hand is looking good, he could do with padding out a little more but it's not bad for my first time. Like i say this one will have no mods other than the zimmerit and in the Coldstream Guards hands, i will post the progress up though.

I'm thinking of a new model too but i'm saving up, it's go to be a Tamiya too so thinking Sherman. But it won't be this year as i've got a classic car to get on the road first

Have fun,John

PS. The figure is not finished yet.
