The main wire was ok, just the barbs took me ages!!! I did a 60cm strip (ish) and it took me like 2.5/3 hours to do! I would prefer more barbs too.

Tip for light covers if you wanted, I just cut semi-circles of paper and stuck them on, had coloured the white lights with a hint of yellow first.
Sorry I brought it up lol :D

I actually used Milliput to cover the lights and cut the small opening out before it dried. I looks pretty good and it saves you around 15 quid.

Hi Dee,nice job the whitewash look like freshly applied with rags like many were, reminds me of the pz grau Tigers of abt 503 Rostov area early 43,these Tigers had your turret number style and there is a well known shot of number 123 with a roll of barbed wire on the rear hull and hasty whitewash nice job,i agree with the other chaps,do the head lights, maybe mount 2 semi circles of plasticard leaving a slit and with putty and sanding smooth the edges to form the typical flattened dome bosch cover shape,go on you can do it dont waste £15,or knock them off :haha: ,maybe do some covers for the sprocket hubs.interesting use of barbed wire on Tigers was 505 abt at Kursk that carried entanglements on the hull sides, anyway nice job Wayne

Chears Wayne, I have sorted the headlights, used das modelling clay. Need to sort the barrel next. I used the Tiger 123 as my main ref:] well spotted.

The wife has had me busy doing the bathroom so my tanks have had to take a back seat at the mo :[ Not long now and i'll get back on my next tiger project :]

Ive always wanted to do an early 503 Rostov Tiger with Pz III turret bin,a second look at pic of 123 I think is a road wheel tyre, not a roll of wire, which is odd because road wheels were normally sent back to Germany for tyre renewal, still I think stowage looks great on Tigers hull sides ie your logs, breaks up the shape and adds visual interest, and indivual style,
