I have an Asiatam metal chassis, and bought some Mato idlers with bearings.
I spent a couple of days looking for M4 Stepped bolt, then decided to go a different way.
The problem was the bearings, the inner diameter is 5mm,which is why you need a stepped bolt, get the same size outer, with a smaller size inner (4mm),and your problem is solved.
I went to my bits box,and found a Tamiya bearing for one of my old rock crawlers had the same outer diameter but, inner diameter is 4mm,problem solved, steel allen bolt,no problems.
If anyone has the same problem, the Tamiya part number is 9805672 ( bearing BK3 for a Tamiya TLT).
