Unfortunenatly finances dont allow the purchase of the base sherman but will watch with interest I,ve a few ref picks if they ll help :thumbup:

Made a start on removing the rear air vent and cutting out the vision panels in the commanders copula.

Still a bit of sanding down to do a trimming aroung the vision panels, but my hands were getting a bit twitchy, so decided to call it a night :yawn:

Filled and sanded hole where air vent was removed, plus a little repair where the dremel slipped :-<

Just for something to do, I fitted the handles to the front hatch covers.

Used small magnets to hold hatches shut, that way they won't flap about when tank is running over rough terrain :thumbup:

Primed up and painted some parts this afternoon. I can now get on with the suspension while I am waiting for other parts to arrive.

Not much happening at the moment, still waiting for upgraded return rollers, idler wheels and paint!!
Fitted the suspension supports.
