Thanks for the comments guys. Work on the lid has started. I'll post pics time allowing after some paint dries. I do have one issue. First, the tank runs great. What my issue is involves my radio setup. I'm using a DX6i and all the functions work well except for throtlle. I have the radio setup so that my two toggles on left and right shoulders fire the main gun and mg. These are awesome. What I have run into is that every other time I start her up, I don't have drive until I bring throttle trim down all the way then back up. It will then give me drive. Whats funny is that the sound unit thinks there is drive, just nothing from the motors. Anyone experience this? I used the DX set up from DAK. When the main gun fires, the tank does recoil, but again no power being sent from the MFU to motors. Once I trim down then up, it comes to life. What gives? LOL

I hope everyone had a good summer. When I jokingly titled this thread, I had no idea I'd be a prophet! Anyways, back at home and work is winding down. I finished the turret and am just in the final steps of painting the base coat. Pics soon!

Ok, first bit of weathering is done. Not going for the sitting on a shooting range look, just like a tank that's been in use.

Good Afternoon,
That is one fast KV-1 I ducked when it scraped by the camera coming down the hill. ;o) It may have taken a long time to build but it is obvious that it brings you a lot of enjoyment. Next up, the KV-2? *chuckles* (I really want one of those)
