This is a discussion of several smoker designs,the one thing about this that got my attention was the electrical engineering applied to develope the heating element,it's not rocket science but it is smart in how he approached the problem.I am pulling out my old smoker with the fan and my stock smoker and replacing the heating elements. I always remove the smoke because they always break

I did the same thing with my Jagtpanther smoker rebuild (all pics gone since site move) Basically, you have to balance the wetting and drying of the element. I also increased very slightly the pump chamber hole which made a BIG difference in smoke output.
