So true, however, the Tamiya Tiger I and Pershing were my favorite kits of all time. Nearly worth the money to me for the enjoyment of assembly (thankfully I swindled Sassgrunt out of both of them - see still cheap).

Couldn't agree more on the Tamiya Tiger 1. It was my first tank kit build. I totally enjoyed building it and it was a huge learning experience for me and introduced me to how RC tanks work. I liked building it so much I tore it down a few years ago and rebuilt it and it was just as much fun. I still might buy another one in the future
