I have had these circumstances, too. I have often (not always) found that the NiCad batteries can play a trick on chargers, appearing to be fully charged when they are not. The usual symptom is the the tank will start up, but stop when fired or when asked to run forward (or backward). I always first swap out the battery for a different one, itself fully charged. The original Taigen (or Torro or HengLong) batteries are often unreliable, so I buy batteries online from a reputable source.
