Great work, great weathering, great figures, and great photos, Rob59! I, too, have one of the Asiatam Kübelwagen, but after my experience with the FAMO I am hesitant to take it on. My Tamiya RC Kübelwagen is a speedster, but fun.
jarndice, I didn't know Will had done a Kübelwagen. Drat! I missed it.

Will didn't make many, I think I had the last one and that was only because I had the Tamiya Kubels Desert balloon tyres.

@ Herr Dr.Professor:
As I mentioned earlier, I have nothing to complain about this A-Tam Kübelwagen.
Nothing has broken off, yet.....
I did read on other forums, that the metal A-Tam uses tend to fall apart even when you touch it, heard those issues a lot from their Opel Blitz.
Maybe I was just lucky with this one?

Disintegrating "metal" (a zinc alloy, I believe) occurs sporadically in production. It seems to occur when the quality of the metal used for the castings is poor, so it will affect one production run and then other production runs will be fine. Of course, the actual problem lies in "quality control." 'Nuff said.

That is just amazing. Obviously your figures are as always top notch but the mud splattering and general weathering is stunning

They run really well with little work need. If you do take it apart to fit out, be sure to replace all of the screws as they are all made of cream cheese...

Ah ha

Tiger6, you just revealed that you have built one. So when I start on mine (one of these years) I can count on fussing to you about it.
