Have tried the trims on your radio to even up the track speed for straight ahead running?
I did fool around with the radio some but couldn't figure it out.

One trim in the same axis as throttle finds "center" between forward and reverse, the other (side to side) will adjust it to run straighter.

I'm using the left stick for throttle and right stick for steering. I probably just need to fool around with it some more until I figure it out. This radio has a massive amount of adjustments for the controls. I turned it on for the first time today along with board installation. I'm also still trying to learn this software. Everything I've ever used before was just plug wire into a servo and go with it. This is totally new!

Is there a way to speed up or slow down each track so they're the same, or do I have it constantly turning to keep it going straight. I'm not sure whether to fool with the adjustments on the steering or the throttle.

Unless there is a "binding or drag" on one side the steering trim should get it running straight with no stick input. If there is a bind (heavier load on one track) the trim will be of little help.

Steering (side to side). The trim can always be set back, not a permanent adjustment. Trim literally only fine tunes the "stick".Hoghappy2000 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2024 10:43 pm I'm not sure whether to fool with the adjustments on the steering or the throttle.

Okay I'll mess with that again tomorrow. I'm done for the night. BTW the OEM Toro radio has a steering trim adjustment knob. Any chance I can designate one of the knobs on my Fly Sky radio to do the same thing?

I don't know the Toro board, but you may soon have an answer from one of the smarter members...

Hogg...y: if you don't already have the instructions for the FlySky, send me a PM and I will send you a .pdf copy. I am still learning about my FlySky, but I believe the answer to your question about trim adjustment is "yes."
