As Model Builder 4 says, "the main sales picture may show the whole set but there are multiple boxes below that which show the parts individually." Toucan Hobby and its spin-offs (e.g. Color Never Fade) do the same. The practice saves space on a web page, but confuses me. Nonetheless, Toucan Hobby has been just fine for the orders I have made.

Sounds like you can get a bargain but have to careful. I’ve got a feeling that what I have ordered is 2 switches so will have to see what turns up😂

99% of my 1/16 figures do come from Aliexpress.
Mostly at my doorstep within 14 days, some orders even within 5 days!
Never ever had an issue with them.
But just keep checking between the different sellers on there, there can be quite a difference in prizes, and also look for free shipping.
We in the Netherlands can order free, without taxes and income fee's, till the amount of 150 Euros.
So my last order, a complete set of 10 German Paratroopers and 5 crewmen for the Tiger 1, I had to split otherwise it was more than those 150 Euros.
These 15 guys could also be ordered seperately.
I also have 2 sets with tankriders for a StuG-III and 2 sets tankriders for the Panzer-IV.
The StuG guys had to be ordered as a set, for the Panzer IV sets you could choose: 1 set with 6 tankriders, and 1 set of 2 with a tank commander and one Panzergrenadier.
Rob.

Aliexpress doesn't like me for some reason. I get a message that they can't/wont deliver to my address. Yet, I have purchased many figures from them via my neighbour who lives directly across my road, and who Aliexpress doesn't have a problem delivering to. So weird.
Apart from that. We, as in myself and my neighbour haven't had any ordering or delivery problems so far.

Same, i buy there a lot.
You just gotta know the rules:

Dont buy from stores under 98% review score
Dont trust 1 picture sales.
Allways check the “color” options, very often the price and description are bait, its like you search for “bb gun” and you see the gun for 5usd, when checking the “color-options” youll see that 5usd is only for a separate sold BB supply and the gun is 25usd.
If pictures look like a real good item, and the price is very low, youll usally get a cheap knock-off, a lot of sellers use “fake” images (the image isnt fake, its prob a good quality item from internet) you just get a fake copy, when in doubt, check reviewer pictures and like ssid before check the store review score.

Prices can be really tempting, but quality can be hit or miss.

Hi

I have used Ali Express for years and find them to be both reliable and reasonably quick to get stuff to the UK. I still prefer to buy locally if I can (eg UK tank vendors) but at times this is not possible due to what they can stock. I have bought a LOT of stuff for the 1:14 scale trucks over the years and the extremely odd occasion there is an issue the vendor usually steps up and if not Ali Express themselves are good - a lot better than the evil bay lot.
