Ali Express

Post by percy1510 »

Evening guys.

Just wondering if anyone on here has ever ordered from AliExpress they have insane prices. Is it too good to be true?

They are offering a tk6 main board with remote and full set of wiring for £6

I’ve ordered from them and I don’t remember any unpleasant experiences.

Just ordered a tk6.1 controller/ main board/wiring/speaker and smoke unit for less than a fiver. Thought I’d give it a go. Sounds too good to be true but if it is it’s only cost me a fiver so got to be worth a go

Can you post a link to the sale?

I use Aliexpress all of the time, but they have a habit of using ads where there's a selection of items for sale and the picture they use isn't the same as the price they show. Check this ad out:

Looks like metal tracks for $12.58. Score! Nope. Click on the "color" section in the ad and a bunch of rc tank items come up. The 12.58 is for a bb shooting plastic part, the metal tracks are $82!

Hi Percy,

Aliexpress is a reputable market place and like jimster I've never had a bad experience with them.
I believe that what you have ordered is only part of the tk6.1 set though, the main sales picture may show the whole set but there are multiple boxes below that which show the parts individually, I have just checked on there for similar items and the price that you paid may be for one of the auxiliary cables or the like, if you click on the box with the full setup it jumps to like £90 :wtf: confusing I know but when you use them regularly you get used to it, sorry to burst your bubble but I would still be interested in what you actually receive, if you look at your purchased items it should show a little picture of what you actually ordered

Ps, Mike beat me to it with a similar explanation while I was typing my response :haha:

Cheers, Lee.

Aliexpress is great with refunds and cancelling recently placed orders if needed.

:) Hello, Jimster, has very well summarized the principle of sales at "Aliexpress", personally, I place quite a few orders from them without problems, and you have 90 days to return the item if you don't agree? it is true that you have to be wary, because the price displayed is always the cheapest of a set, but you can view it in the basket, before the pay box, there are also for certain items, several proposals, take a good look , and click each photo in the description, in order to avoid errors.
