So sorry for your loss! My mother is in a dementia facility and on hospice. The iron tongue of time tolls the hour.
Anyhoos, do you have any videos of your models?

Back then it was just sticks and rocks, right?

Welcome aboard sberwick. I too have a Sherman fetish, though I am a little more balanced with other tanks too.

And like the others, I'd love too see some pictures of your fleet!

the currant Tank I am working on is a hooben sherman I am converting to a Fury sherman, it was the basic hooben not the deluxe. So I had to do some major hull/turret mods and 3d printed all the stowage.

Looks mean and ready to rumble. I thought it would be more green looking but I’m not as educated on allied armor.

That is, indeed, a mean looking HVSS Sherman. Is it gray?

its Sherman green with the black stripes. it has a dirt and mud wash on it like in the movie. its actually not as harsh. but the flash makes it look grey. I will try to take more without the flash

sberwick: I thought the flash might have caused that color effect. I have seen the same gray effect in published books photos of Olive Drab museum AFVs. I applaud the straps you created to make the stowage look realistically attached: how did you do that?

I purchased some 1/16 and 1/8 khaki colored ribbon off ebay, and glued them to the packs.
