I've looked at my KT build manual and the only thing I can think is you might not have pre tensioned the springs for the idler on the right side before tightening the screw on the MK9 collar. I hate to keep banging the drum but just order a Henntec. You are going to eventually end up going that route anyway. You can order directly from Guido at
https://www.henntec.de/produkte/kettens ... ya-panzer/ or through RCTank.de

Eventually I will get one but for the now what do you mean I didn’t pretension the springs? Sorry English isn’t my native language so sometimes don’t understand everything

If your idler is still sloppy/floppy/wobbly, tensioning the tracks won't help. We need to know why the idler isn't firmly fixed in place to stop it from being unnaturally pulled forward.
The Thing with the aftermarket idler tensioner, it keeps the idlers from flopping about like a dead Norwegian blue.
Yes it’s floppy and wobbly for some reason

Try re-doing Step 8 in the manual again. If that doesn't work you might have to try re-doing Step 6,7 and 8 again completely. It's not that bad but you will have to unscrew your back plate and speaker and start over again. A spring might have popped out. It's a finicky poorly thought out system

Will try that out at the end of the day it is my first RC do you think the problem is on me or Tamiya s bad tension system?

I believe he means making sure these springs are correct, and handed like the pictures.

I notice the springs are drawn handed on the instructions, yet they all have the same part number, I'm betting this is part of the failing of the system design, that the springs aren't handed like they should be for correct seating within the drums.

Considering how much the Tamiya costs it's a bad system. What makes no sense is since the Tamiya FO Tiger came before it why they didn't just use the same system. The Tiger 1 system isn't the greatest either but it does work. People have been complaining about the KT system since long before I got into RC tanks and so I ordered the Henntec at the same time as I ordered my tank. It took a while to get to me so out of curiosity I installed the Tamiya one while I was waiting and everything I read about how bad it is was correct. If you are planning on running your KT a lot you will need aftermarket tracks eventually as they constantly fall apart. I'm generally a huge fan of Tamiya tracks but again the KT ones are not good at all

Exactly. I can put up with a lot of Tamiya's eccentric ways but that system is just terrible. Another thing he will need to source is over sized rollers for the turret to sit on as the factory ones aren't big enough and because of the metal barrel's weight will get stuck in spots through the rotation. Why Tamiya just couldn't over the last 20 years have upgraded to use proper ball bearings and a rotation system like HL and Taigen is beyond me

That I already fixed I ordered TAM 72005 ahead and replaced the gear my turret could barely move before making the change lol
