Now if we could get them playing Rugby instead American football. They are almost there. Right shaped ball the goalpost are close. That have some big guys for the forwards and good runners for the backs. It won't take much to convert them.

I used to know a few guys that played Rugby here in the States. They all had criminal records and were kind of psycho, rode motor cycles without helmets and started their drinking in the morning (for what it's worth)!

Cricket in the US!!
I have had lots of conversations with guys over there during my many trips that all have a common theme.
How can you play a game of sport that takes a week, and still can end in a draw!!

Hard to argue that logic !

I think that is why they are starting off gently with T20 before going onto ODI 50 overs and then the creme de le creme 5 day test cricket
I am disappointed that the later matches are not being played in the USA where they could see India/Australia, New Zealand/England where the blood and sweat does show,
I apologise if that sounds as though I am belittling other teams in the competition absolutely not meant that way.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Given the amount of breaks they put in American Football, do we think 5 days for ODI 50 overs is long enough?

Oh my God ! First soccer invaded our shores and now this?! Death by a thousand cuts. Our judicial system is down the toilet and now a foreign sports invasion.
Thank goodness for libations. Think I’ll go out in the yard and drive Ol’ Ugly about.

Lol, was actually a cracking game between the USA and Canada last night. Aaron Jones hitting 94 off 40 is very impressive and some huge 6's there!

Rather more interesting than American football matches that require you to book a weeks holiday and we don't have substitutes in cricket you either man up or retire, the game continues. Weather permitting of course :haha:
I thought the standard was high certainly like most T20s it got exciting toward the end.

First 6 overs in the poweplay and the last 6 for the run chase its carnage. There is a nice lull in the middle to top up alcoholic beverages
