I love the added details and budget friendly DIY work

The Tamiya Nato Green and Nato Brown did come the closest to the original HL colors.
For the lighter camo color, I did mix Tamiya Flesh with Tamiya Buff in 1:1, which did the job well enough for me!
Next I used an AK Wask, AK300, to mess this destroyer up in some way.
Weathering with some Enamel from Revell/Humbroll.

This is an all Plastic Heng Long Panzer, and I did not have to buy anything to make it look like in the pics.
All the stuff I used was laying around, and as you can see, with a little effort you can make a nice looking vehicle from a "cheap" tank too.
So all in all, less than 190 Euros, which was the price I payed, shipping included.
It has the Heng Long TK-7.0 main board, which is more than good enough for me.

I particularly like how you closely color matched the the schurzen to the stock paint finish then weathered to blend together.

Where did you source or how did you make the Bosch look-alike cover for the headlight?

Luckily the Tamiya Nato colors did match the "stock" HL camo colors Green and Brown.
As I do not have an airbrush, I must paint everything with brushes.
The Bosch headlight cover was the last one I got, got a couple of them once from another member on the german Tank Forum "Heng Long Panzer Forum".
But now I ran out of 'm.....too bad!
But as I don't have any intentions buying another Panzer, it's okay with me.
About 25 Tanks/armoured vehices is enough for me at the moment.
I still do have some unfinished/unstarted projects sitting on the shelve, like a StuG Ausf.-A, a Jagdpanzer IV with Schurzen, Kettenkrad, BMW with a sidecar, an Elefant and a Panzer IV with Schurzen too.
So no boredom for me this Summer.

The last few days I've been busy with the foliage.
I found this at the Action store, it is a mini Buxus tree for 1.99 Euros
Cut all the branches off and painted them.
Had to paint every branch and all the leaves too, so it doesn't look like plastic anymore.
This is just to find out/see, how it looks with some camoflage on.
Later I will take it all off again, because it takes away a lot of details/weathering.
Only the camo on the maingun stays.
Maybe later, when I shoot some outdoor pics, this will look nice, we'll see.

Your weather is much like ours this coming week, Rob59: cool and rainy. I checked because I was wondering if you would have a chance to take some photos of your Jagdtiger from a bit of a distance. I'd bet that its camouflage would be quite effective at hiding it in the underbrush and low grasses.

After the photoshoot I took all the camo off.
I got some other camo from Ali in the meanwhile, which can be seen on the pics in my other thread about the Asiatam Kübelwagen.
Maybe I can add that onto the JaPa too.
If so, I will take new pics.

That Panther just looks great outside especially with the schurzen. I have shurzen for my Panthers/Jagdpanther and JPIV/70 but I find they are too easily ripped off in real running. I have lots of the schurzen plates but only one set of hooks left. If I could find/fabricate some hooks that don't immediately snap at the first resistance I would like to run my Panthers with them on. Only the JPIV/70 is durable enough on the field. In fact the schurzen prevents the big mounting hooks being ripped off
