HERMAN BIX wrote: Mon May 20, 2024 9:46 am G'day Mr Modler, do you think these things could be usefull as donors for the new small range of 16th static models out now ?
The Pz 1's and 2's ?
IDK Herman Bix, if you could post more info about these "16th" static models I could give a better estimate if they could use the 1/72 Tiger electronics.

Transmitter improvements

I added a topside micro SPDT switch to the TX to enable constant Forward speed to be switched on\off. Works in parallel with the Forward push button control on the TX. Once switched to forward, the low\high button can be used. A momentary push switches the low\high speed.

I also added a bottom side micro SPDT switch for on\off of the TX AA batteries. The AA batteries will be depleted if the TX sits arounds for extended periods.

I added a 1/4 watt 2.7K ohm resistor to the CHARGE LED so that the LED is on when the on\off switch is on.

I extended the 2.4G Antenna with a 5'' piece of stranded wire with heavy insulation coating to extend the TX range. Not really needed for small model operation but just wanted to see how much range would be improved.

Summary of operation and features of this 1/72 Tiger

It is the best "bang for the buck" in R\C IMO.
These are excellent donar Tanks for 1/35 scale models

Ok I am going to detail the features and operation of this 1/72 R\C Tiger.

I am short on time at this moment but will update this post as time allows.

2.4G 5 channel radio control system.
very small circuit board can be fitted to very small models.
Has onboard engine\track sounds that are switchable on off.
Has a DEMO mode that runs the Tanks hands off.

ch1. F\R
ch2. L\R with turn in place
ch3.Tracking adjustment L\R * This is the main feature that separates this tanks from all others.
ch4. Turret rotate L\R - Fire main gun with track recoil
ch5. Low\High speed, mute sound, Demo mode.

2.4G TX has decent range with no interference. TX to Tank Parring is excellent. Multiple tanks can run together even if the are the same color
~100mAh lipo. TX has on board charger.
The tracks on this Tank are hard plastic not rubber.
Coreless motors.
Turret has 360 movement both directions.

* L\R Tracking adjustment on the fly. Anyone that has built a 1/35 scale model into R\C will realize the that this is a must have feature. IMO this feature makes this the best TG radio system out there at this time. There is nothing worse than a Tank that tracks to the Left or right and can not traverse a strait line. This has been the bane of many a toy tank in the past.

I always admired the craftsmen who made 87 scale radomedels, but the nail in the coffin was the 150 scale cars, I watched the video on YouTube twice, I just couldn’t believe my eyes!!! 8O

As soon as I can measure one I will post back here. They are 4.5~7.5 ohms and are designed to operate @ 3.3-4.2 volts. My guess is 4mm.
