"Probably broken down on route." Yikes! Meter rat, I have a HengLong Challenger II carefully tucked away in my ridiculously, unconscionably large stash of RC tanks :crazy: . I have not touched yet. Now ya got me scared! :O

Probably. Should have kept the Chieftain nearby, just in case;)
Had a mate who was in the Royal Engineers during the Gulf War. They were still using Chieftain recovery vehicles. Apparently they were extremely unreliable..
With all the work done, mine is now proving to be, fast, quiet, and despite the large amount of grass tightly collected around the rear sprocket it showed no tendency to de-track, when I ran it around the garden. I have to say I have fallen back in love with it. It still needs some improvements to previous work. But in all it is now being a good model for my needs. And a massive learning curve that I can apply to other models.

Yes. I hear the early Challengers were an absolute mechanical nightmare!

Hopefully our own will be one of the better builds!
