The turret looks small, a KV2 would be better.... ;)

I have the files to do the KV-2 turret also. I was considering doing both as they can be swapped out easily. I didn't do the KV-2 initially as my scratch built paintball tank is a KV-2 in 1/6th.

Further work on the turret. The entire turret ring has been printed and assembled, some of the turret details installed, a base coat has been applied to some of it, the recoil/elevation has been installed, and the barrel/mantlet printed/installed. I know the color is wrong, but it's what I had on hand in a spray can. I will adjust it with my airbrush when the build is ready for final paint.

The commander's hatch is opens and rotates. The periscopes both rotate. Still need to print and install the rain shield over the gun. The Hellcat in the pics is 1/16th scale just for scale.

Are you sure it will fit through a door when the time comes?

Still moving forward...got some of the lower hull stuff test fitted, got the handles bent up for the three fender mounted storage bins, printed some test track pieces and used them to align the sprockets. Those things are bigger than my fist and the tracks are ~4.5" (115mm) wide. Only another 165 track links to print.... :) Still need to do the body work on the lower hull before permanently mounting all the details and priming. Need to get on the lathe and turn some custom bushings first as I can't find any suitable bearings that fit or that I can make adapters for. Just need to get my repaired tool post mounted on the lathe and order a few more sizes of Delrin rod.

I mean yeah, I know it for a fact. Nice to see I'm not the only one! :haha:

What an absolute beast, Derek. How much do you think it's going to weigh when you're done?
