Hi Ern, I see you removed the incorect ariel, did you remove the incorect convoy light . Another thin I did was correct the rear superstructor at the rear . Have you mounted the spare track holders  ::) Its looking a very promasing build . Can I ask also with the asiatam tub is you rear idler wheel sitting to high ? Mine is put Ive got to change it to the late war idler which has a smaller diameter . So this may make it look better ?

Thanks Andy

Yep, extra aerial was removed from the left side, convoy light removed from the right side, and HL antenna removed and moved to correct location.

The rear idler does it high, even though I've adjusted it all it will allow - but the way it is I think I can live with it and hope that the torsion springs loosen up with use.  If I push down on the hull it looks a lot better so I'm hoping it will improve with age.  My biggest problem driving is that it is pulling to the right a little.  I've played with the trim adjustment and can't correct it so there is something going on there.  Lots of possibilities but I'll get it figured out.

I like you superstructure correction and may add it as well when I get everything else done.  I'm haven't got to the turret yet... should be done this week though.

I'll add some more pics later tonight.  It's almost 1pm and I haven't been to sleep yet after working 12 hrs last night!

Hi Ern,
I think all Asiatam tubs are like that and your lucky to get one that isn't  :-\ As for the idler I'm changing mine to a late war one which has a small diameter so this should make it look better . I did loads of mods to my HL Tiger ( check my sSS101 Tiger rebuild build post) here's some of them.

Removed incorrect Ariel tube,
Removed both convoy lights and made working one,
Corrected rear supour structure,
Made turret move in a circle and added turret protection ring,
Added second set of mesh to Engine grills nearest the turret,
Opened front hatches and added opening hatches with periscopes,
Altered rear engine clasp thingy,
Made exhausts smoke correctly,
Thinned out and added damage to side skirts,

All the best Andy

It's not perfect, but like I said, I can live with it the way it is...
