The XL speaker?
The recoil unit appears to be a 3D printed Clark recoil system however there are no mountings for the ATAK mantlet

yes the XL, for the barrel recoil and elevation system, you have a Clark set, attached official website link, where you will find in the left column, post:
1/16 conversion/ upgrade kit all information in
universal servo recoil 16010
elevation gear set 16012 and 12A. a servo is fixed on the mobile part (this is the recoil) and the other comes to the bottom of the turret using a small pinion, which drives the half pinion on the side, after the race settings, are executed in the menu from the radio.

look at "universal recoil servo 16011L, everything is explained there, on the first ones it is not good, can you be inspired by that of the KV 1, which is another type of adaptation, different according to the tank, but which remains identical in the principle

again forgot the answer,
there is indeed a problem with the mask, there should be two columns to fix the brown plastic part? would they have been cut? also seems that the barrel guide is sawed askew? or photo effect? I'll take pics of mine tomorrow

The barrel connection broke during transport but should be an easy fix.
The columns appear to have been removed

Hello, yes indeed, but there is always a solution to repair, with a bit of surgery on the mechanics, you have to see at the time of installation, and the adjustment of the front / rear travel of the barrel (approximately 21 mm on a G) I have the impression that the whole has undergone major modifications, absence of columns, cannon sleeve on mantlet? does not seem original to me? is it a metal or plastic turret? turret interior photo? this afternoon take pictures of my turret

Sorry for the size of the photos
Too bad the mantle has been modified? it's Zamac, difficult to drill (except with good forest) to tap, and also to stick? or redo an identical piece in 3 D.

it's weird, but on closer inspection, have you noticed if the columns have been removed or do not exist on this piece?
it looks like a personal transformation from a type G to type A, which failed. Do you have the impression that the colonettes have been deleted?
