I've read about that on other forums etc, the outer casing wears around the bearing, causing the bearing to get sloppy, which causes the shaft to move and cause a sloppy gear mesh.

Drove my Tiger about the backyard tonight with no troubles at all. The HL gearbox seems to be tough as hell. No problems so far.

Yours is DKLM ..... it has all metal gears. Heng Long have everything in nylon ....

Only the nylon ones. There is a metal gear plastic case one and a CNC metal case metal gear one.
