So had another request, from a fellow modeller who has one of the 1/12 ROC Hobby vehicles, so making a scaled up version for him in 1/12
Will use the ROC hobby tyres aswell so is matched nicely to the Jeep
Will try and do a comparison picture.

One of our very own here on the forum should be getting their kit in the post for their 1/16 version.

I bought a 1/10 scale jeep from Banggood a while back and it is very nicely detailed but something was missing,
coincidentally AD LAV was advertising a 1/4 tonne trailer (In Bits) Money passed hands and i became the owner of a box of parts :haha:
With the addition of a decent axle as well as period wheels and tyres and steel springs It now sits securely behind the Jeep looking absolutely right.

We still need to sort out a clean area for video, with some proper lighting and alot better camera or 2.
Had quite alot of good constructive comments, we are taking them on board and we will get better.
Anyway enjoy the video and Shaun, this is your one. Be in the post very soon.

Two Alleged 1/16 Land Rover short Wheelbase Defenders were delivered to my Door yesterday, each from a different maker indeed one from China the other from Germany
I say alleged 1/16 because these are the dimensions of them, The Chinese Landie ----------------
Wheelbase 20 CMs
Overall Length 36 CMs
Hight 18 CMs
Width 14 CMs

The German Landie -------------
Wheelbase 14.5 CMs
overall Length 24.5 CMs
Hight 13 CMs
Width 11.5 CMs
I suspect the Chinese Rover is 1/14 or 1/12 but it was half the price of the German one and decent r/c so no complaints BUT why say it is 1/16 when patently obviously it is no such thing ?
Wills 1/4 tonne trailer matches the German Landie perfectly  and I know that the trailer is 1/16.

Yes unfortunately alot of these models seem to have a scale issue
Something soo simple to check aswell, but consistently presented badly
Was one of them a MN90 or 91 ?
