I have returned my recoil unit and had a full refund. Having looked at the relevant threads I’ve decided not to fit a recoil unit. Instead I have fitted a scale barrel, replaced the turret bin with a metal one, managed to get the Heng Long elevation gear into it OK. Have also replaced the cupola with a metal one. I will add barrel flash and wire up the turret mg to operate. The hull has been built as a 3H and the engine air intakes fitted with grilles and the exhaust systems replaced. I’ve also fitted pins and chains to the towing pins, just needs a bit of weathering now then I can get on with lowering the suspension on myT34.
