RC features you have added
Re: RC features you have added
Comparing an Elmod board to a TX radio is a strange one . On an Elmod board its straight forward to set up as its real time and no need to use a remote control or remove the SD card . Join the big boys promoting TX and do a tank TX video. If TX is so easy why has u-tube masses of TX setup videos for the aircraft guys?

I am surprised that is all what you got from my two previus messages, but hey...ronnie42 wrote:Comparing an Elmod board to a TX radio is a strange one . I mean, in the receiver window in the Elmod config where it says for example CH6 FULL UP (And then you select the function) I mean it is like if you want me to tell you which function pick there, when you are the one you have to select the function yourself. With the radio is exactly the same, you are the one selecting the switch.
About those videos in youtube, well, there are monetized youtube channels, youtubers, payed reviews and many more. Of course free educative stuff as well. But there you go! there are many of them, start watching and learn. Reading the open source manual won't hurt neither.
And nope, it is not going to happen, I am not going to make those videos and probably not even one more besides one that I already did for my beetle. Among other reasons english is not my mother languaje and I just don't want to. And now, why should I? There are masses of videos in youtube, you said.
Planes, cars, trucks, tanks, helis, drones... Basics are the same.
Ill stop the discussion here, because I see myself banned, lol.
My RC tanks website, loads of free info for everybody:

I too see the electronic side of this hobby as bordering on 'Voodoo' magic.
Thanks Mr Rad for the ongoing support in the electronic world for us 'elect-tards'.
As for the topic, I can only add that I've managed to make 2 Taigen systems work in Tanks that never had them !!

Rad if they banned you from the Forum after the dust had settled there would only be a couple of moderators left because the rest of us would have left with you,
And anyway without you the name of this site would have to be changed to "Tank Warfare" because without your carrying the rest of us on your broad shoulders most of us would have no idea of how to get the best from our radios and those that do would never be prepared to go into the detail and demonstrate the patience that you do
I actually think that in the strange way that citizens of North America deal with the ENGLISH Language Ronnie was complementing you and you being you are not very good at dealing with complements so take it from me You are irreplaceable and we will have no more talk about bans.

Re: RC features you have added
A few years back we had a newbie who I don't think made many comments before disappearing BUT he/she demonstrated how by using a servo you could get the Hull MG on a Tiger 1 to be swung from side to side while firing it,
It impressed me at the time as to how simple a job it looked and maybe in my next life which I promise will be far better organised than this one I will allocate time to incorporate that particular fix in one of my Tanks

Why? This is a good healthy discussion, with no politics, no racially derogatory remarks, nor temper tantrums.Rad_Schuhart wrote:Ill stop the discussion here, because I see myself banned, lol.
The rest of us mere electronic mortals learn from such discussions.
So long as we keep civil, I won't regret starting this with a simple question

Re: RC features you have added
Hello,
Friend Rad, I would be so kind as to share with us his fabulous knowledge of the (numerous and unsuspected) functionalities of our radios, and personally I have learned a lot on his blog, for a lot of things. flash my TX, and thank him once again. Certainly not remunerated for the work done?
but at a minimum, reimbursement of all costs, material provided and postage. Since I have a TX Top, when I started model making (boats) I used servos with microswitch, for various functions. I find that the additional animations bring a more realism during the evolutions of our models. So Rad as a saying goes here "do well and let it go" don't change anything my friend.
PS :
sorry possible mistakes, google translation

I made my tank commander’s head turn left and right. Super basic but I like the added animation for my tank.
Re: RC features you have added
Jimster at least you made the effort, simple mods always lead the way to better ones.
