Airbrush best pros and cons

Hey there started with the Sparmaxx so 35, which I still have and us Sometimes. It is a rather cheap dual action Airbrush. Used that to paint a few models with good results. The cleaning was always a problem as you need to unscrew the nozzle which has a very small diameter brass thread and once ripped off completely. So after ordering a replacement nozzle I started using it again until it was clogged. And honestly although you should try to avoid getting some debris of paint into your airbrush cup it can sometimes happen with older paints. So I threw it into my garbage box as it was in that state. Half full of paint and uncleared and ordered a H&S Ultra. It is the entry level airbrush but has the same nozzle, needle as the much more expensive models. When you buy this airbrush with the .2 and .4mm needles and two cup sizes you get the airbrush body almost for free. Cleaning and stripping this airbrush is a nobrainer. So easy. Never had any problems here. Of course clogging sometimes occurred as well. Just rinsed it under the sink and carry on. Spares and seals are easy to get in Europe at least. In the end I turned towards the H&S Evolution CR. Quite a step up in quality and ease of maintenance, as parts have better coatings and larger diameters.
By the way. The cheap airbrush is working again. After about 1 year in its encrusted state I found it in the bin and tried to revive it. Soaked it in cleaner and it works again. Honestly though. There is no need to use this anymore as it is much more of a hassle to keep working well.

I always read good things of Iwata or Badger and Co. but never tried these. But try to avoid airbrushes with those tiny screw in nozzles.
