Hi.
Just a thought.....what amperage battery are you using?
If its only shutting down when you are using the smoke unit you may be pulling too many amps to run the board efficiently and it shuts down, dont forget these smoke units are effectively a dead short just heating up a wire element.
It may be the battery cannot supply enough amps to run both.
Just a thought thats all.

Got it sorted it turned out to be a blown heater in a smoke unit causing a surge and with the Ibu safety cut off that’s what was happening

Glad you got him going. Always a great feeling to finally get an aggravating electrical problem solved. There’s hardly anything more frustrating for folks like myself who are electronically challenged.

The batteries i use are 25C and 10C 11.1 V

You either need to reduce the output on your settings to around 50% or buy 12v smoke units. Reducing the output will help give the smoker a longer life
