IMHO the Heng Long Tiger I begs for the metal wheels at least. The plastic wheels are abominations. But even when upgraded still requires alignment which in my case also required washers as shims for the Idler wheels. All of my Tiger I's, Heng Long, Taigen and Torro can detrack if driven without a bit of attention or finesse over challenging terrain outdoors. For the Heng Longs I deactivate the "sit N spin" mode and adjust the turning radius to wider arcs. The Taigen/Torro can't be trimmed on the remote and just have to be driven more judiciously.

My Heng Long King Tiger on the other hand came Pro with all metal running gear and hasn't been adjusted out of the box. Zero issues with the tracks run hard. Only thing that ever happened was a hubcap popped off.

I've got just about every brand except Aeromate. Each tank has it's quirks, but since most of my tanks are heavily modified I've made improvements to each one. Each tank can be what you make it....even Hooben tanks; although, they are harder to customize as they don't conform to the specs of other manufactures.
