Because I have never offered photographs on the Forum I feel that it is not my place to comment on TOTM But I thought I might make a plea for the newbies who might be put off entering in fear of their offerings not being considered when compared to those more seasoned and practiced members of the Forum whose all singing all dancing Armoured wonders would overshadow the more gauche armour of our ever expanding Hobby.
After all we all do our best but when I look at my first Panzer 4 then I compare it with my latest it looks well shall we say lacking :{
But at the time it was the very best Panzer 4 anywhere in the world and if someone had offered a negative comment I might have taken up pigeon fancying instead.
Just a thought. :think:

Thank you for your input Mr Eastern Front :thumbup:

As for a points system Carl so kindly suggested and you seconded, I will honestly give it some thought, especially if more people latch on to the idea, then I'll have to put it down to a vote.

As for rule 8 and your reasoning behind not liking it, I think I'm going to leave that in for the moment unless I get lots of negative towards it.
One can't compare the TOTM to a game, especially as one of our top forum model builders often gives credit to 2nd parties for work done on his builds that he has submitted into the TOTM, and this particular person would be classed as a seasoned vet if this was a game.
And I'm sure people like yourself vote for what they feel should be voted for in their minds.

But, don't for a moment think I'm dismissing your ideas or criticisms, far from it, this is an open discussion, and unlike a politician, I will listen and reply, and I will go with what the general consensus is.

Mick.
