Hi Will, have a look for ossum Jeep on Thingiverse, it’s 1/10 iirc as it is but it’s easily adjusted to any scale you wish, there are loads of remixes & accessories, including a lwb version.
Cheers

Have found it, but i can see i may ned to make a few accessories. Although for chassis i will make a metal chassis to bolt down onto to make it sturdy

For axles for the Jeep you might want to look at 1/24 scale Crawlers. They're just about the perfect width. I bought a Losi crawler to get the axles for the kubelwagen that I still have yet to build.

Cool thanks for that. Although it has to be said I was going to use the lathe and the new metal parts for all to narrow the axles.

Cut the axle plastic down and weld in a bit. I will check out the crawler in 1/24 to see comparison

So how much can I expect to print with a 1kg reel of pla?

If I were to print something like a Chieftain, how.many reels would something like that require?

Hi Will, Alwyn would be better placed saying how much filament was used as I printed loads of other stuff in between, as a guess though it was just over one spool.
If you put your stl into Cura it will tell you approx how much filament it will use in length & weight.
