I think a big problem is that a lot of members may feel a little intimidated and afraid of embarrassing themselves if they don't get any votes. If, like me, they don't have a lot of confidence in what they can produce, it can make you very backwards at coming forward.

I liked Roosevelt's quote but I liked yours better!
