I quickly knocked together the easycad design for the shell and case

Now I just need the printer.
You can't see the taper on the pic as it's too subtle to show up, but they should look ok. I think it will need some fine fine tuning on the dimensions though.

Hi Alwyn, a pic of a couple of shells I have, the smaller one is from a 1/18 set and the larger is a 1/16 that I picked up off eBay , HTH

Hi Lee that's brilliant thanks very much. Having the measure for the 1/16 confirms my rough estimates, the taper is more pronounced than I thought and I may have to tweak my cad model but it's pretty close.
