Yes tiny internal space. Glad it was just a blown fuse.

Hi Tankbear

No luck, could you send me a screen grab of your setting to see if anything is different?, hope I'm not being a pain

Thanks!

Thanks Tankbear

And whenever suits you, I have got in touch with ibu support and I'm sending him the ini file for it

Hi all

I had a reply from ibu, and he changed the recoil setting, (really quick response!)the recoil is slower, but still 2 second gap.
I don't think it's to do with the program, could it be the board itself? Here's a digital servo, the arm on top isn't what I'm using, it's just so you can see the movement

Any ideas??

Right had a play and done some videos.

Standard settings (as shipped)

Setting are
RecoilTimeServo=4000
RecoilTimeServoReturn=2000
RecoilInverseCmd=True

Adjusted for fast recoil and quick return (with gap)

Setting are
RecoilTimeServo=400
RecoilTimeServoReturn=800
RecoilInverseCmd=False

Adjusted for fast recoil and instant return

Setting are
RecoilTimeServo=400
RecoilTimeServoReturn=400
RecoilInverseCmd=False

Hope that helps

Ian.

Hi Ian

No, still the gap, would it matter that the elevation servo is working backwards, so up is down and down is up? Could that be on the same channel and confusing the recoil servo? I so thought that was it (if it had worked if have confessed my undying love for you, so maybe it's best it didn't!! :haha: )and I am still In Debut to you for so much of your time and extremely kind help!

P.s tried the other servos too, everything else works fine

No the elevation servo shouldn’t have any influence on the recoil.

What timings are you using in your video? As it looks generally slow, more like the as shipped timings.

What happens if you use these setting and just connect a servo to the recoil output

RecoilTimeServo=400
RecoilTimeServoReturn=400
RecoilInverseCmd=False

Hi Ian

It does the same thing, tried both different servos, I don't understand why it's doing it, and I tried a new battery, and all settings that you have very kindly taken time and worked out, I really thought it was it last night because the first is exactly what happens, so the other two should have done the job?
Also made sure I put the false in aswell

Thanks Ian!

Andrew

I’m at a loss then to why it’s staying slow. Really loooooooong shot but when you do the changes in the setup file are they been saved properly? or a typo in the command line or a space between = and number? Could cause the IBU2 to ignore the command and I presume result in using the firmware’s own default setting which will be the slow as shipped settings.
