Kyosho iReceiver works as both a camera with iPhone app, not sure about iPad, plus a rx receiver with six channels. Pricy though...

Mark, Have you seen the videos I did on the Mobius and its docking station?

I have been looking on utube and it seems that the rc copter people are ahead of the game as its common place to have cameras with eye shields they wear as they go so far away they need them
They call it fpv (first person viewing)
So going to do a lot of research first , don't want to repeat any of my previous mistakes , like buying tanks with the 27 meg frequency instead of the 2.4 gig . Which is so much more reliable
Trying to do this at a price that's reasonable.
I need a t34 85 next , can't keep buying German tanks the neighbors might talk about me laugh
But again thanks for all the input there are some very knowledgeable people on here.

Just in case it helps,I also build night vision set ups for rifles and use these people for parts.

They specialise in video equipment/transmitters etc. They are very helpful and uk based, they will know what's possible and what's available on your budget.

And this is the complete set up I'm using, but it's top secret! :haha: @)

Goggles

Mobius docking Station

Antennae

Power filter

Receiver

And the battery

Along with the Mobius, this is my FPV equipment so far. I also got an extra camera to mount on the front of the goggles. That way if I want to see what's around me without having to remove the goggles I can just hit the switch for the front view cam, then when I'm done ogling the cute blonde walking past I can flip back to the view from the tank. @) :shh:

I've also started putting together my Project Danville Specific System, but so far all I have is the first camera! :wtf:

I also have to say that I wouldn't be anywhere without the help of Erik Edwards (Imex-Erik). That's one really great dude, and he's really been instrumental to me in my journey through this crazy hobby.

Nice one , I will look at it all as this is a complete kit that's been tried so I assume the parts are all compatible with each other .
The goggles have a good write up and are not expensive .
Thanks max
Ps I'll keep the secret.

Just watched all the videos attached to your reply , looks great . I will be getting in touch with hobby King soon . I wanted to use my iPad but when the goggles you recommended are that reasonable I can ditch that idea, or maybe even look at that latter .
Thank your mate iMexeric as well for me .
