Brainstorming - Realistic Tank Recoil and Variable Suspensn

Good afternoon,
I remember this from building the 'Palace'. That is a Soviet experimental mounting of their 122mm anti-tank gun in the KV-2 turret. Quite a blast as it visibly rocks the entire 52 ton tank back on it's suspension. Note the open door in the rear to vent gas from the gun. Check out the one about to be deafened officer type in white who neglected to cover his ears.

A weighted cam rotating once. Needs a decent weight bit will give the rock rather than the whole tank sliding abaout

cant really make out much movment. But on the recoil being able to simulate the breach repositioning would be cool.

It really would...I don't think I've seen anyone portray the KV2 with a long gun...something to think about
