Long gap here for some reason I didn't show the painting process and it's been running about a fair bit but it's quick with no torque so that needs addressing.
The axels now have bevel gears so gives better power transfer but at a 1:1 ratio so the gearing will need changing

Maybe you need to change gearings by brass or steel...

Thx guys .....just changing the boxes a bit will post pics soon. I'd hoped to get 2:1 ratio bevel gears but can't find any small enough to fit in the xion cases so rework of the boxes is in progress

yes id seen those ive a couple of their sets but the 2;1 ratio ears are way to big to fit in the cases
