I'm still pretty new here myself but I think I can help you out. I've been hanging out over at RCU for the past few years and I'm just starting to get to where I'm not a complete moron when it comes to these little beauties. Right now I'm wondering if this is where we should do this, or if you should start a build thread, or what. I guess Alpha will nicely let us know if we're screwin' up. He seems to be the Old Man around here. I'd say PM me but we want other guys to chime in too so you spend the least and get the best result.
First, can you post photos? Show us what you're working with. I've never done a Mato but they all have basic requirements. Second, where are you? For a lot of stuff you may need, like jst connectors and the proper daughter boards and what not I can send you stuff I have on hand (no charge for little stuff, if postage gets out of hand we work something out) but if you're not in the US it gets a lot more difficult. Does it have basic stuff, like turret rotation motor and elevation motor? I have all that stuff if you need it, or you can get it at places like Matomart and AliExpress. Remember that I have a rule I advise you to always do your best to follow when buying stuff online for the tank, and that is - NO PAYPAL, NO SALE! There are the very, very rare exceptions, but make sure you protect yourself, Brother.
I'm sure we can get your tank going in short order, so let's see what we need to do, where you are and if you can do pictures, then go from there. Time to get to work!

Nah...I'm not that old here...I just talk a lot ....If both of you are doing Shermans...nothing bad about doing Joint builds...kind of what happened with Giant ..ATC..and myself...it was pure coincidence ...but it made things much more fun

I don't have a Sherman, but I'd like to help rcleland get his operational. I get a kick out helping new guys get even more hooked on my favorite hobby. I guess that makes me a "Tank Pusher". Can't ya just see me in the shadows? ... "Pssst, hey buddy, need a tank fix?".
But joint builds can be much more fun than solo. It always helps me to have someone to bounce ideas off of and a little friendly competition to see who does it best can make both tanks come out much better.

If you want to pay postage to the US I can set it up for you, but I still think you can do it yourself. It's really not that difficult.
So once again, can you post photos of the tank? You only have so many things that have to be connected. Turret rotation motor, elevation motor, airsoft motor, lights, smoke, sound and drive. The above photo of the TG MFU shows where everything plugs in, and I can also provide illustrations of the daughter board and whatever else we need.
Come on, Leland (is that right?), let's get to work!
