Tim,
Thank you, sir! Do start the build thread. There is a lot I need to learn when it comes to 1/6 armor.
regards,
Painless

Mine had already been extensively modified a good few years ago.
All the original electrics had been removed, and ne speed 600 motors, speed controllers, Benedini TBS5, smoker and working lights fitted.

The electrics were a total mess.

I have totally stripped it down and am currently cutting out all the lower hull bulkheads so i can fit a semi detailed interior.

My big problem with the plan is that once i cut the base out of the turret, i will have no way to traverse using the original system.

Anyway, will start a new thread and get the ball rolling.

The one big problem with these Stuarts is that there are no available spare parts in the UK. There seem to be plenty in the US with scary prices, with even scarier postage & then we get murdered with import duty on top of that.

Take care

Tim

Tim,
I'm planning on bringing the speed up on mine as well. I'm switching over to better motors and a different board. I want to add a smoker as well and do a little interior detail ( maybe not so much that I have to cut up the base of the turret but possibly ). 1/6 scale, so much can be done with detail. ;o) Sure, Once the mold is made and separated, another resin mantlet could be poured. I'll let you see how Mike's turns out and decide if you want to do the clean up. ;o)
regards,
Painless
