Thanks for the info. I'll look into the links.
I know they're not scale, but The tracks and spokets are a here and now thing. With time they will be corrected.

This color is something I put down to get ideal of it...I have all the Tamiya colors for the o.d, or the striped camo like the othe builds on the form, but it's a toss up. I like them both! Heck, there might be another s.p build to come.

The accessories rack, or storage attached. I'll put the welds on after awile.
Test fitting old accessories out of my box of used junk. I'll use these and refurbish them. I'll also add ammo boxes and a helmet or two on the other side of the rack.

Re: m26e3 super pershing build
Looks more at home made in the Urals than Ohio !!
Im a blank on U.S. armour especially post war/late war, so assuming this was a Korean Conflict method to up gun, the 'agricultural' look seems odd for a superpower at the top of its game at the time.
Or am I just spoiled looking at quality machine work even for catastrophic conditions in wars end Germany !?
Bloody good renditon of it either way mate

The US rushed this into theater at the end of WWII. When it arrived in Europe it looked like a normal M26 with a bigger gun but over time it had a lot of field modifications done to it to improve its performance.
It even managed to engage and knock out a Tiger II.

Yip, I've read the account of that duel. I did not realise it was one of the so called 'super Pershings' that caught the KT out.

As it came over? This is said to be the king killer, but I thought it didn't kill the king to the last version of the 3rd time it went out. The heavily modified one ?

The 3rd and last version. Can't find any pictures of the full profile, but this is what I found.
