the asitams make a hell of a difference in driveability and the 18 board is a must over the mattorro leccies
when you do yours if you convert your controller to h/long parts its pretty easy

HL electronics already in using an RX14 with fan cooling. The plan is to drop in a set of 3:1 HL gearboxes and beef up the Matorro suspension and using HL Tiger 1 spigots and metal suspension arms with spacers to compensate for the offset on the Matorro arms. Bought a set of Tamiya drive and idler wheels along with the Tamiya idler adjustment system thanks to Welsh Dragon Models . Thinking of using a spare WSN T34 unit to get the barrel recoil working ( Saving some penny's for the metal tracks and DBC battle unit

). If the suspension upgrades don't work out to well I will have to look at getting my grubby mits on a Tamiya KT hull and going to town on that and waiting for the metal tracks and DBC

. But all this is for the future as I have a couple more tanks in line first like a Tamiya Tiger 1 ( converted to a late model ) and the Stug (metal wheels raised metal return roller mountings and the wider Eastern front tracks ). Just have to get the recoil going the correct way and give it a flash over with the airbrush. All the best for now
Alan ( so FEW tanks so MUCH work )
