Thanks not sure which one I have to be honest, got it from Welsh Dragon Models, looks exactly like the one in the pic wibblywobbly posted. Dim question about the IR port as it was on the diagram
What is the 8 pin socket for on the right?

hi tony I think that is the taigen mfu ,that you have the 8 pin socket plugs into the upper hull 8 pin socket , tanker 242

hi guys still having problems with the taigen recoil in my HL T34/85 with the HL2.4ghz mfu all wires for recoil & elevation connected up correctly includeing the ground wire but the elevation cog sticks & recoil motor just makes a whiri`ring noise, & when I turn main power switch off the barrel flash flashes, never had this problem with the old HL small pcb only the new hull top plug in system ,tanker 242

hi guys have sorted out the problem with elevation cog sticking just trimmed a bit off the piece off the bar that the elevation arm slots onto, every thing else turret travers, forward /backward on motors, m/g, elevation, smoker, speaker, rear light, & track recoil on k, button, works, but still no barrel recoil or front light, & now the flash goes when I turn the tank off at the main power switch ,any help would be appreciated , it is the new taigen recoil unit & the new HL 2.4ghz mfu in the HL t34/85, with the two pin for turret motor & three pin for recoil & elevation in front of the 8 pin with m/g & front light solder`d directly to 8 pin on hull top, with the grooves on all three of the female plugs on hull top faceing towards the front of the hull, has anyone fitted the taigen recoil into the new HLt34/85 & had this problem & iff so how did you fix it ? tanker 242

hi guys still having problems with my HL t34/85 still no front light & the flash still go`s when I turn the main power switch on, I know its not the headlight bulb as I tested that by takeing it out & connecting it to a battery with two wires, & hull m/g still works ok, but still cannot figure out why the flash go`s when I turn the tank on at the main power switch ,tanker 242
