Hi Nick Have the m4 book only problem with it its in Polish so just using the photos for referance, there are so many differant marks of the Sherman one could almost do anything to one and call battle field mods .Trying to stick to the one set of drawings and try to find photos to suit ,the main problem is the suspension might have a go at making some vvss covers ,or wait till Heng Long bring out there kit to convert Tamiya over to vvss will see when Ive done the rest of the mods then can see if it looks out of place on  the fully assembled tank .

Pete The only thing Im sure of is it will be green havnt looked into any regiments, so if you send me details I will be your number 2 if you want  will need to know where to get the decals .

Chris wait a week or two then you can buy a VVSS from Heng Long and that way you wont have to do the suspension on another Tamiya .

iv painted my firefly and my comet as the
3rd Royal Tank Regiment - Armoured Regt 11th Armoured Division

Hi Guys A little bit more done started on the rear now still a few bits to make lid for rear bin and a little lid for the for the bit just behind the air intake plus what looks like a filler cap .Will have to make some hex heads for bolts still looking but have had a bit of an idea if it works will post how to make them .So here are a couple of photos.

P.S. the only thing I know is I want it to be British markings so Im open to Ideas I like the Idea of Pete all the Fireflys from same regt

i'll 2nd that septon, i think this sherman when its done is a prime candidate for the models masterclass, i cant wait to see it done

Hi Guys Thanks for the vote of confidence just doing the best I can ,always wanted a Sherman and to make a Firefly so Im doing it a little bit at a time when the Boss lets me going and play .Only got a tiny bit done Saturday (for some strange reason the boss always wants to go shopping on Saturday and Ive never yet found a tank so why She keeps taking me cant explain must be a female thing )any way the only thing done yesterday was lid for rearbox and the cap for the air intake .Hope to do a little bit today .
