Puramo,
You're making serious progress. Check out An-Bri-RC.de if you want some great, inexpensive metal bits for your T-34. This guy has drawers full of odds and ends for tanks. A little cleanup is required at times but for the price, they cannot be beat. I used a fair amount of his stuff on my 'capture' KV-2. Following along.
regards,
Painless

I'm loving the work you're doing. I have the T 34 to do also, so I'm watching with great interest.

Cheers busy

working too fast really as always pressed for time
I did the Dr Phil suspension spring swap (you can see it all on Dr Phil's web page, the other T-34 Heng Long build thread), but I found it's better not to mod the springs on the rear wheel set under the motors as the weight of the motors makes the suspension sag too much, so the rear wheel set has full spring tension the others are swapped for low spring tension)

I cut the very hard plastic tubes off the smoker and replaced with softer tube ( I saw some people used McDon*** wibbly wobbly straws to great effect here, the smoker is a pain to sit between the motors)

I hinged the rear section and it now pivots up like the Flakpanzer model. Working on putting a plasti card strip in front to hold the speaker (ditched the speaker box tub thingy...) and the switch under the front hatch.

Mainly working on texturing the turret and adding small details here and there before I begin painting the lighter green base colour.

Again many thanks for the thumbs up

Got up to the testing stage whilst doing undercoats and prepping.
I am getting nearly one hour 8O out of my 1700Mah NiCd that came with the tank, no seriously. Everything works flawlessly. I hate some of the solder points and some of the quality issues, but the barrel is aluminium which is impressive and the 2.4G system (after initial hassles) works super smoothly, from really slow crawling to full throttle, all functions work excellently, so far so good :D

(there is a constant trickle of non functioning units on my local auction site, so I might start stocking up on parts and knocked out panzers :) )

Did a little detail painting and started adding winter wash, I'm not so good at doing realistic dents or the weathering patches but it's steps in the right direction

I didn't repaint the original HL so using that as a base I added hairspray then white then rubbed some off with water and brush
then started adding shades and highlights and weathering with thinned oils
(I did the pipe with powdered chalk and varnish)

You guys are too generous in praise :D

looks like it was painted by a four your old
and here is a bloke who hasn't got a clue about how to use imovie...
(it still needs rain streaking, a lot of tidying up and the logs, bags and tarps haven't been added yet, like
everyone else it's a work in progress)
How not to make a video, camera strap, wibbly wobbly, dark light etc. just rushed it off as the weather was good...

this video is dedicated to my furry friends, antenna eaters, garden guerillas, foulers, T-34 destroyers

(I bust up my rear hinges so rubber bands saved the day, I'm going to do the neodymium magnet mod when they arrive, lol how do you pronounce neodymium properly :) )
