Brian you won't regret it, when you switch it on it gives out a very bright light and when you bend the flexi arm and lift up the top cover you have an illuminated high power magnifier, excuse the pun but it is brilliant, it looks good as furniture and it is great as a workshop aide. shaun

click on INDOOR LIGHTING,
click on TABLE and DESK LAMPS,
go to sub page 2,
scroll down 3 lines it is the one on the right.

Briz...definitely get one...takes a little getting used to when using the magnifier ...but well worth the dollar...I have two....one uses a circular florescent the other is made for a standard incandescent but I use a 40 what florescent bulb in it...both work well
An additional good investment is a pair of these

adjustable magnification... I got one from EBAY for under 9.00 US

Wandering does give one exercise....I'm a little different... I like knowing what I'm looking for ....go in and grab it ;) ....Though I have to admit...I got my two from a local thrift store...7.00 dollars a piece :haha: both still in working condition ...and I can still get the circular florescent for it ;) ...so I guess browsing does have it's advantages :D
