Hi Pete, that picture gave me the idea.

My Sherman is loosely based around this one however I'm using it as a test bed similar to how the government would have done.

In simple words it may come out with an AA gun mounted, a mortar mounted or a standard tank turret mounted.

I built this one 2013 if it gives you any ideas,. I had to cut out the turret hole in a M26 scrap top and then fit it into the HL sherman top for the turret to run on otherwise it was an easy build.

Hi Denzil, can you explain in a bit more detail the last statement please as I'm getting a bit confused as to what you mean?

Hey Merlin...think what Hawkeye is referring to is that the Tamiya turret base is larger than that of the HL...if you use a HL Pershing turret you shouldn't run into that problem
