general view. Ive soldered in longer wires to reduce stress when I remove the top of the tank- and I only had black!

Hello Intruder

My Tiggers lights are wired like this - Green ( + ) common live , goes to the long leg on the LED's , both M.G. and one of the headlights , another wire , white , goes from the short leg over to the long leg of the other headlight - then another white wire goes from that short leg to the 8 pin block . the orange , only goes from the M.G. short leg to the 8 pin board .

Must say tho you lost me!
Not sure of the 'short leg - long leg' terminology tho!

INTRUDERM800 wrote:hello, here are some pics of the wiring- I hope they are clear enough.

there will be 4 photos- looks like i will have to upload individually.
There looks like there are too many wires...on that board and your light and machine gun wires look incorrect... I'll get a pic of mine for you

Sorry Intruder , I should have explained , LED's have two legs , the 'long' one is positive + and the 'short' one negative - . They won't work otherwise .

ah, I see!
the problem isnt with the lighting board- I havnt touched that. Its what wires the blue, yellow and green (coming from that board) connect to on the 8 pin connector.
tried all sorts of combinations (without success) and just need to make sure Ive got it right as the problem could be else where.
cheers

Hey Intruder ... haven't forgotten about you... just haven't had a chance to take apart one of my older tanks... been working out details on my KV .... it has the priority right now... but now that I've taken care of all the major obstacles... I have time ... and no It isn't your LEDs ... they look like they haven't been touched... it's the wiring to the boards .. and it does look like you have too many on that six pinner
and just for the next tank you do this to... put tape on the wires ...colored if you have it. then cut the wires as close to the solder point as possible... that way you know where what goes almost instantly.... plus you reduce the chance of burning a circuit from the soldering iron heat... which could also have happened
