Re: Smother turret movement?
Thanks scalawag. I tried the 15 Ohm last night and it is still a little too fast for me, but I know that when I put in a 27 Ohm I was definitely getting slow down and also different speeds. I might try something in the middle and see if I can get it a little slower without the slow down/different speed.
Re: Smother turret movement?
15 ohm seemed to just do what I wanted .27 ohm seems a little to much and you would be better off using something in between. I did not notice a differance in speed going in either directions, but it will be slower then the scale turret speed, but it will work and stop where you want it to. glad to have helped my fellow tankers.
Re: Smother turret movement?
Thanks guys will let you know what happens. It definitely looks like 27 Ohm is the "upper" limit. I think 18 Ohm was very similar to 15 Ohm so I only have 22 Ohm to try out unless I get creative and start soldering them in parallel.
Re: Smother turret movement?
Okay it does look like 15 Ohm is the only reasonable one. Both 18 and 22 Ohm slows down when you do more than a quarter turn at a time. I want it slower than 15 Ohm can do but the inconsistency in the turn speed is not what I want so 15 Ohm it is.
