a Cromwell build will do me good.
all those lovely flat panels.

@ wibbly, do you still play world of tanks? if so whats your i'd name, i'll look you up.
@ panther ausf g, yes it is sort of a metalwork shop.
we make ultrasonic scanners & i'm in the metalwork team.
you'd think with all those electricians they could help me with my clark board woes! ( bastards! )
so signing off, expect a Cromwell build thread soon

I thought it looked like a Sheet metal or Fabrication workshop.
Your project is a very good choice, I'm very interested in the final model and how you overcame any hiccups along the way.
It's an excellent build well executed! not haphazard at all . If you do take a break from it hopefully not too long.

I will look forward to your Cromwell build.

I am so impressed with how far you got and I look foreward to the Cromwell, being a complete hypocrite I wish more people would build British WW11 Tanks even though I have no intention of doing it myself. After all someone has to keep the flag flying while the rest of us are building Tigers! shaun

Hi Lister Fiend.
If you are interested in free plans for a Cromwell Tank Mk IV the hull and body is made from plywood. Other materials could be used but would increase the weight.
They are 1/6th scale but may be useful to you.

I've just had a look & it might well help.
tbh I've already started the Cromwell build using the same method as before
i.e copying from a 1/35 Tamiya kit & the plans book ibought for the matilda.
I can only really "get to work" on Friday afternoons & that depends on how bad my day has gone!
